About Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj

Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj belongs to the group of medicines called immunotherapeutic agents used to treat leprosy. It is used to treat advanced non-small-cell lung cancer in combination with other medicines and as adjuvant therapy in sepsis. Leprosy is an infection caused by slow-growing bacteria called Mycobacterium leprae.

Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj contains Mycobacterium W and Sodium chloride. Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj works by altering the biological response or modifying the actions of the immune system of individuals to various pathological conditions.

Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj should be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience some common side effects like injection site erythema (redness) and ulceration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, pain, weakness and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects of Sepsivac 0.6Ml Inj do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, reach out to your doctor.

It contains heat-killed strains of bacteria named ‘Mycobacterium w’ which is a non-pathogenic mycobacterium and has immunomodulatory properties. It is used as immunotherapy in leprosy, sepsis and in advanced non-small cell lung cancer along with other anti-cancer medicines. It works by altering the biological response of an individual to various pathological conditions.
